Hey everyone,
Have just had a fantastic weekend in Townsville North Queensland. Our daughter Kelsie competed in her last junior country netball carnival. (she is now a big 17) We flew up for the weekend and spent the days watching netall, chasing balls, grabbing quick hugs and giving positive reinforcement and feedback on the teams final wonderful achievement of tied 3rd position.
To top it off my parents live in Townsville and my cousins also are in Innisfail and Towny. How cool to catch up with them all. Kelsie loved having the family around, her 2nd cousins and cousin visited the warm courts. We spent the evenings chilling at Mum and Dads place after touring the beautiful city on the way home from the netball courts. Meanwhile Kelsie and the girls from the 4 teams were stuck at the Ridges resort in south townsville. Lapping up the views and restuarant and travelling by bus around the town. Dressing up in tutus and home made hats for brekky was definitely one of the highlights for her.
Anyway back to the sunny coast to temps of 4 degrees chilly mornings walking on the beach.
Bye for now
Donna
